LifeLong Medical Care celebrated its 45th Anniversary (Virtual) Gala on April 24th. I am pleased to share the event raised just over $172,000 to support the compassionate care we give to our patients and communities.
LifeLong continues to be at the forefront of creating innovative models of care and is proud to be “leading through change” by meeting our patients where they are and our street medicine program is a perfect example. It began operating pre-COVID. Through the pandemic we expanded our efforts so that we now have five teams. They charged ahead over the last year, connecting people to COVID-19 tests and vaccines, and other health services with our one stop shop approach. The funds raised this year will be used towards the purchase of additional vans.
