Dear LifeLong Staff,
The Marin Adult Day Health Center (MADHC) in Novato became part of LifeLong Medical Care in 2008. However, for the last 10 years due to the low Medi-Cal reimbursement rate, combined with loss of grant funds, it has operated at a year-to-year deficit.
Unfortunately, due to these factors, LifeLong can longer financially sustain the center’s continued operation. For these reasons, LifeLong’s Executive Leadership and Board of Directors made the difficult decision to close the Marin Adult Day Health Center. The last day of service will be April 28, 2023.
We very much appreciate and honor our MADHC staff members and thank them for the excellent care they have given the participants and their caregivers over the many years.
