Justin Chin, DO, a physician in LifeLong’s Family Medicine Residency program, has been honored with an award from the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP).
Dr. Chin, in the graduating class of 2023, was awarded Resident Paper of the Year for his paper Perceptions of the Osteopathic Profession in New York City’s Korean Communities.
The ACOFP recognized the 2022 award winners March 17-20 at its 59th Annual Convention & Scientific Seminars.

Dr. Chin is among five other residents in LifeLong’s inaugural class who will graduate from the program next year. LifeLong’s program was developed to fill a need to train highly skilled family medicine physicians to work in underserved outpatient medicine practices.
Dr. Chin took his DO degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and an MsMEd from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. His academic interests include medical education, preventative medicine, social determinants of health, and the role that culture plays in healthcare.
