National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM)

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), highlighting the importance of getting recommended vaccines throughout your life. You have the power to protect yourself and your family against serious diseases – like COVID-19, whooping cough, cancers caused by HPV, and pneumonia – through on-time vaccination.

During National Immunization Awareness Month, LifeLong Medical Care encourages you to talk to your doctor, nurse, or other healthcare professional to ensure you and your family are up to date on recommended vaccines.

As children head back to school this fall, put vaccinations at the top of your checklist.

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in California, vaccination against COVID-19 is the most effective means of preventing infection and subsequent transmission and outbreaks. The COVID-19 vaccine is free, safe, and available to everyone ages 12 & up. Vaccines are available to LifeLong patients and the community. Free for everyone – Open to the Public – No insurance or documentation needed – Walk-up’s welcome without an appointment.
