National Papaya Month

This September, celebrate National Papaya Month with this sweet tropical fruit. Loaded with rich nutrients and antioxidants, papayas are rich in vitamins A, C, and E, as well as potassium, calcium, and iron. Moreover, papayas calm inflammation of the body, and support healthy digestion.

Papaya is the fruit of the Carica papaya plant. It originated in Central America and Southern Mexico but is now grown in many other parts of the world.

Fun fact, your body absorbs beneficial antioxidants better from papayas than other fruits and vegetables. Papaya offers a rainbow of vitamins and minerals.
